Sprint calls dibs on the red HTC One. HTC

HTC announced on Thursday that Sprint will soon offer the HTC One in an exclusive red color.

Set to arrive on August 16, the red HTC One features all of the same hardware and software of its black or silver brethren. Pricing remains the same as well; the smartphone costs $199 with a two-year service agreement.

For a limited time, Sprint will also offer the HTC One in a buy-one-get-one-free deal. The promotion, which runs from August 16 through 30, works for any hue of the handset.

Sprint is also the first U.S. carrier to provide access to the NextRadio interactive FM radio application for Android, which is available for free in the Google Play store. The app is exclusive to the HTC One and HTC Evo 4G LTE.
