Short: TradeWave joined CommercePoint

TradeWave, a subsidiary of Boundless Technology, has joined the IBM CommercePoint initiative to provide secure electronic commerce over intranets and the open Internet. The agreement extends a relationship between TradeWave and IBM in creating a secure system for electric utilities to trade surplus power via the Internet. On that project, the two firms created a certification authority to assure that only authorized persons could tap into the system. TradeWave calls its technology TradeVPI (Virtual Private Internet).
