Short Takes: Nortel sells its stake in Juniper

Following Juniper Networks' recent initial public offering, Nortel Networks--an investor in the start-up--sold its stake for $57 million, according to company executives. Nortel was among many firms in the computer industry to grab a stake in the much-hyped Internet equipment firm. Other firms which still hold a stake in Juniper include Ericsson, 3Com, and the UUNet Technologies subsidiary of MCI Worldcom, among others.
