Home networking firm Tut Systems beat Wall Street estimates as it reported a first-quarter net loss of $3.3 million, or 32 cents a share. The company was expected to lose 36 cents, according to a consensus of analysts polled by First Call. First-quarter revenue increased 109 percent to $3.9 million, from $1.9 million last year. The company's technology is the current standard for home networking phoneline products.
