Short Take: Tandem raises investment in start-up

Tandem Computers upped its investment in Silicon Artists, a Web site content, design, and entertainment production company. Tandem, one of the original investors in the start-up, now owns a 90 percent stake in the company and controls three out of four seats on its board of directors.
