Rhythms NetConnections, a competitive
local exchange carrier (CLEC), will expand its digital subscriber line (DSL) offerings to 35 cities next year. Rhythms' service is focused primarily in California, where seven of its 11 markets are located. The company also provides DSL service in Boston, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia. Rhythms said it plans to reach more than 70 percent of businesses in each of its metropolitan markets.
