Short Take: Novell adds support for hot plugging technology

Novell has added support for NetFrame's Hot Pluggable PCI technology to its IntranetWare operating system and Web server suite. The NetFrame technology will let IntranetWare users add or swap PCI boards and their device drivers without having to shut down either IntranetWare or the server. The idea is to minimize the server down-time associated with hardware upgrades.
