Short Take: Netcom, Netscape do small-business email deal

Using SuiteSpot server software from Netscape Communications, Internet service provider Netcom plans to host email systems for small and medium-sized businesses. The service will let businesses avoid buying their own email software and dedicated servers, Netcom said. Instead, the ISP will store all messages on its own servers and let customers access it from work or remote locations.
