Cisco Systems announced two new dial access hardware systems targeted at service providers and large corporate networks. The two new members of the AccessPath include a TS3 model that supports more than 2,000 modem ports in domestic T1 environments. An LS3 model can handle almost 400 modem ports. The TS3 model is priced at $130,900 and will ship in the first quarter of next year. The LS3 model will be available next month for $55,700.
