Short Take: MindSpring buys subscribers from ISPs

MindSpring Enterprises completed the purchase of subscriber accounts of five Internet service providers. The addition of MegaLinx Communications, TabNet Internet, Flamingo Communications, NetBiz, and MIWorld raised the number of acquisitions made by MindSpring since the beginning of this year to 19. The company added six to eight thousand subscribers through these acquisitions.
