Short Take: Legislate, State Net strike marketing alliance

Legislate, a unit of The Washington Post Company, has forged a joint marketing and licensing agreement with Sacramento-based publisher State Net to sell subscriptions to legislative and regulatory tracking services owned by both firms. As a result of the deal, the online legislative information providers will be able to sell their services to one another's customers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
