Short Take: IBM Introduces Java application for intranet printer management

IBM released a new version of its Network Printer Manager software, a Java application, installed on a Web server, that is designed to help users manage intranet printers. The software is initially available for installation on a Windows NT Web server, with IBM AIX, OS/2, and HP-UX, with Sun Solaris support scheduled for later in 1997. The software, as well as a demonstration of it, is available from the IBM Printing Systems home page.
