Short Take: Gateway joins Universal ADSL Working Group

PC manufacturer Gateway has joined the Universal ADSL Working Group, the digital subscriber line (DSL) "G.lite" standards-setting body. Gateway said it expects to begin trials of G.lite ADSL technology, the consumer grade DSL standard, during the second quarter of 1999.
