Ascend Communications released a new access device for digital subscriber lines, or DSL, targeted at service providers who want to target apartment buildings, campuses, and small offices. The new DSL MAX 20 access concentrator includes eight to 32 SDSL ports. The new device will be available this quarter with prices starting at $495.
