First mentioned at CES in January, a new 10-inch Android tablet will reportedly debut from Dell sometime this summer, according to Forbes.

Dell will reportedly launch a new 10-inch Android tablet this summer, according to a Forbes story .

Citing a source at Dell, Forbes said that the Android-based tablet would hit the market earlier than initially expected, possibly by mid-June. Briefly teased at CES in January and mentioned by Dell in February, the new Android tablet wasn't initially slated to launch until sometime next year.

If true, the new 10-inch tablet would add to Dell's current lineup of the 5-inch and 7-inch Streak Android tablets.

Outfitted with Android 2.2, aka Froyo, the Streak 5 offers a WVGA (800x480) display with 512MB RAM and a 16GB MicroSD card. A 5-megapixel autofocus camera is on the rear, while a VGA camera faces the front. Its larger 7-inch Streak cousin sports similar specs but offers a dual-core chip for faster performance and is 4G-compatible through T-Mobile.

However, Forbes said it's unclear whether the new tablet would use the Streak brand name and be part of the same family, reporting that the device at this point is still "unbranded."

Dell has also been busy trying to gear up a new 10-inch Windows 7 tablet. This tablet will reportedly be delayed until the fall, said Forbes, following an initial announcement from Dell that it would reach consumers by the middle of 2011.
