The average price of monthly cell phone service in the United States increased by about 0.5 percent in February to $36.76, according to a new survey from Econ One, an economic research and consulting firm based in Los Angeles. Monthly service in Minneapolis and San Francisco had the largest price increases, jumping 2 percent when compared to January's bills, according to the survey.
The biggest decreases were in Chicago, Phoenix, Cleveland, Seattle and Miami, according to Econ One.
