Nokia schedules London Lumia event for May 14
Nokia's next big Lumia thing could be right around the corner. Rumors so far point to a 41-megapixel camera experience on a Windows 8 phone.

Nokia's Lumia 920 may not be its top flagship smartphone for long. The Windows Phone handset maker announced on Thursday that it will hold a May 14 event to show off the next device in its growing Lumia line.
Nokia introduced a pair of budget Lumia phones in February at Mobile World Congress -- the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520. This time, the Finnish company stays closer to home by planning its big reveal for London.
We don't know much more about the event or the smartphone that Nokia plans to trot out, but the most popular (and probable) rumors so far point to a larger-screen device, perhaps 5 inches, that could also host the 41-megapixel PureView camera first seen in the Symbian-powered 808 PureView more than a year ago.
Stay tuned for more details as we get them, and tune in with CNET on May 14, when we'll be covering the event live. In fact, you'll be able to get your complete mobile fix -- Nokia's unveiling hits at about the same time as Google's I/O developer conference and BlackBerry Jam.
