Nexagent raises $15 million first round

Nexagent received $15 million in funding for its first round, the Reading, U.K.-based company announced Monday. Nexagent already received $9.2 million from investors, and will get an additional $5.8 million once it meets certain performance milestones. Atlas Venture and Benchmark Capital co-led the round along with contributions from Quester Capital, Lago Ventures and the angel investment network iGabriel.net. Nexagent, formerly known as InterProvider, makes software that helps telecom carriers manage IP services they provide to business customers. The company will use the funding to prepare its products for commercial launch.
