Netscape, Cisco Stocks Drop
Netscape stock continues its roller-coaster ride, ending up on the downside yesterday. Cisco Systems was along for the ride.
Technology stocks are still in a slump. The Bloomberg Silicon Valley Index fell 2.32 percent yesterday to 172.06 as 35 of the 50 companies listed lost ground.
Former investment advisor darling Netscape and Cisco Systems took substantial hits, with Netscape falling 13 7/8 to 131 and Cisco falling 4 1/4 to 74.
