Motorola Q11: The leak monkey strikes again
If you thought Motorola had given up, think again, because it's getting ready to announce another smart phone to follow its much-loved Q9
That cheeky leak monkey is at it again, and this time he's gone and taken pics of the yet to be announced Motorola Q11 over at Mobility Today. If you read our review of the Q11's predecessor, the Motorola Q 9, last year you'll know how much we liked it. Its easy-to-use keypad was particularly good, and the Q11 seems to have kept it.
From what the Mobility Today lot are saying, the Motorola Q11 runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and comes with GPS, Wi-Fi and a 3-megapixel camera. A quick look at some of their pics and we can see that the Q11 is a stylish device with a full Qwerty keypad aimed at people who like to bash out long messages.
This device will compete directly with the likes of the BlackBerry Bold, Nokia E71 and even the T-Mobile G1, so we're glad to see it packs some punch. There's no word yet on UK availability, but we hope to see it before Christmas. Qwerty is the new black, so get those thumbs ready for some Chuck Norris-flavoured texting action. -Andrew Lim
