Microsoft Lumia 735 lands on Verizon for just under $200

The Nokia Lumia 735 was among the last phones bearing the Nokia name before Microsoft's marketing might over Lumia phones took full effect. That was in November 2014. Now, this wallet-friendly Windows phone makes its way to Verizon.

Selling online Thursday and in stores next month, the more entry-level Microsoft Lumia 735 (note the name change) will cost $192 full retail. Alternatively, you can buy it through Verizon's Edge program for $8 per month for 24 months.

As part of a promotion through July 31, 2015, new Lumia 735 owners will also get 1TB of OneDrive storage, and a free one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal for both the phone and for either the PC, Mac or tablet.

That's a lot of freebie action for a highly affordable phone.

The 735 brings you a 4.7-inch 720p display, a 6.7-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.
