Editor's note: This is an ongoing story and will be continually updated as more information about the LG G3's US pricing and availability is released.

Listen up LG fans because all the waiting and guessing games are over. That's right, LG's latest superphone, the G3 , just became official. Indeed after numerous leaks LG has finally confirmed the juicy details for its freshest flagship handset.

And just like its predecessor the G2, the new G3 shouldn't disappoint. Boasting an impressive array of parts, software, and features it's clear this device is built to take down its arch rival, the mighty Samsung Galaxy S5. Thankfully the G3 won't merely make a big splash globally but will hit multiple US cellular carriers nationwide.

At the moment American cellular services AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have announced plans to stock their store shelves with the LG G3 by summer of 2014. Unfortunately they have not fixed a price yet for the phone. That said, Sprint has said it will sell an exclusive Shine Gold color model in July of 2014.
