I admit it. I was wrong. About a month ago, I bashed the HTC Excalibur for its downright ugliness, but I actually got a chance to see it at CTIA, and, well, I'm pretty excited about it. It's well designed with a thin profile and a contoured body that make it comfortable to hold. The smart phone also has a soft-touch covering, which gives a subtle rubbery feel so that it won't easily slip out of your hand. The QWERTY keyboard was pretty decent, as was the screen, although it had a tendency to hold a lot of smudges. Inside, the device runs Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone Edition, has 128MB flash memory, 64MB of RAM, and Bluetooth. Of course, it also one-ups the Moto Q with its integrated Wi-Fi. So maybe we do have a bona fide Q killer here. No official word yet on carrier and pricing, but if rumors are true, it'll be headed to T-Mobile.
