Beyond the native integration with RunKeeper, the Pebble lineup doesn't offer much in the way of fitness or health apps. And with more manufacturers starting to emphasize those features, it only makes sense that Pebble owners will want to know how to turn the current smartwatch into a healthy smartwatch.
As such, I've rounded up four apps currently available in the Pebble app store that bring a different aspect of activity tracking and monitoring to your wrist.
With the Pebble app store still in its infancy, developers are trying to figure out the best way to implement and bring fitness-like features to the watch. As such, some of the apps are rough around the edges, but they work.
Morpheuz Pebble Tracking your sleep and trying to figure out how you can feel better rested each day is vital. The Morpheuz Pebble app does just that, without forcing you to jump through too many hoops.
Pedometer for Pebble Pebble lacks a native pedometer feature, but a creative third-party developer has created an app that will count your steps no matter what smartphone platform you use. But it does come with one big drawback.
Movable iPhone 5S users can take advantage of the M7 coprocessor to track activity on a daily basis. After installing the Movable iOS and Pebble app, the same information will be present on your wrist.
Pebble Heart Rate Heart rate monitors on smartphones aren't anything new, but being able to view the information on your smartwatch is. The iOS app could use some visual help, but it does what it's supposed to do.
