Game show moves to cell phones
Australian carrier Telstra is now offering its subscribers a way to play "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" on their cell phones. Users are sent a series of trivia questions and given three minutes to answer each. The person who answers the most amount of questions in the fastest time will win $10,000, the carrier announced Friday. The game is played by sending short text messages to Telstra. Each message costs about 30 cents to send. The game is the latest example of how carriers are basing more and more of their future revenues on new applications for phones, including games.
