Excite@Home today appointed a former AT&T executive to head its business division.
Excite@Home, the nation's largest high-speed Internet access provider, named Mark O'Leary to run the company's @Work division, which offers businesses Internet access through cable, digital subscriber line and leased lines.
O'Leary will replace Don Hutchison who today was named chairman and chief executive of Work.com, a business-focused Web portal site that Excite@Home plans to spin off as an independent company.
O'Leary, previously a vice president for AT&T's network services, will serve as senior vice president and general manager for Excite@Home's business division.
@Work also hosts company Web sites and offers mobile workers secure access to their corporate network.
