Comcast has hired a former Walt Disney lobbyist as its senior director for federal government affairs. The broadband cable operator said Tuesday that Brian Kelly, who also has worked at the National Association of Broadcasters, will be one of three senior lobbyists targeting Congress and executive branch agencies. Comcast also said James Coltharp, a six-year company veteran, will become its top lobbyist for Federal Communications Commission proceedings.
