Cisco lights up Fireclick with cash
Internet infrastructure company Fireclick on Monday received a third-round investment of $13.5 million from Cisco Systems, among others. The company provides software and services designed to speed Web access for its customers. The additional funding will be used toward continuing to increase the company's operations, funding future developments, building alternative distribution channels, as well as increasing its existing customer base. Menlo Ventures and Atlas Ventures also took part in the investment round.
