Cingular snags Nokia E62

It's been a long time coming, but today, Nokia and Cingular officially announced the U.S. availability of the Nokia E62. The powerful, Symbian-based smart phone will be a Cingular exclusive and should hit store shelves on September 29 for a very reasonable $149.99 with contract. Highlights of the device include a full QWERTY keyboard; a sharp, vibrant display; and robust e-mail capabilities with solutions available from Good Mobile Messaging, Cingular Xpress Mail, BlackBerry Connect, Mail for Exchange, and Nokia's Intellisync Mobile Suite from Nokia. We will update our review of the E62 as we check out some of the new apps. We'll also be stopping by Nokia's booth here at the CTIA 2006 fall show to see if the company has any plans to bring the rest of the E series (as well as the N series) to U.S. shores, so stay tuned.
