Cingular follows the money

Cingular Wireless announced Monday it has teamed up with eAgency Systems, which sells wireless services to financial institutions like banks and trading houses. According to a statement from Cingular, eAgency includes Cingular's Corporate E-mail Plus in its own offerings, which enable people to get their Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes e-mails on wireless devices. The new service is only available on Research In Motion handhelds that can access Cingular's general packet radio service (GPRS) wireless telephone networks.
