BT Wholesale, a unit of British Telecommunications, has signed a marketing agreement with Rackspace Managed Hosting to offer Web hosting services to the carrier's service provider customers. The deal is expected to generate $5.6 million for Rackspace by April 2002. Rackspace manages the Web hosting functions for companies so they don't have to. The company's fees range from $300 to $50,000 per month depending on the complexity. BT Wholesale caters to other service providers.
