AT&T Wireless tweaks message procedure

AT&T Wireless made it easier on Monday for its customers to send a text message to a person whose phone is serviced by a different carrier. The nation's third-largest wireless provider said its customers will now only have to address a short text message with the recipient's cell phone number, instead of having to add the name of the other carrier when sending a message.
