Apple Arcade: NBA 2K22, Crossy Road, Tiny Wings and more coming soon

Apple Arcade has a massive catalog of games to play and more arrive almost every week. Here's a list of games we can't wait to get stuck into.

Apple Arcade has a game for almost everyone.

Apple Arcade now has over 215 games in its catalog. Since its launch two years ago, the subscription service has found its footing in the mobile gaming world. Apple Arcade offers originals including Fantasian, as well as NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition, one of the biggest titles to hit the service so far.

You can also play remastered App Store games -- free from ads and paywalls -- like Angry Birds: Reloaded and Alto's Odyssey: The Lost City. There are still more classics and new titles to come.

Here's every game we're looking forward to playing on Apple Arcade.

Crossy Road

Developer: Hipster Whale

Crossy Road -- an iconic endless runner already in the App Store -- will arrive on Apple Arcade soon without paywalls or ads. Last year, Hipster Whale added Crossy Road Castle to the subscription service.

NBA 2K22

Developer: TT Games

In NBA 2K22, you can assemble your dream team of basketball players and compete in Quick Match modes featuring updated player rosters. Plus you can go head-to-head with friends in Online Multiplayer mode and play 3v3 in Blacktop mode. You can also play in My Career mode, which lets you customize your appearance, position, jersey number and more. Train on the court and level up to reach NBA All-Star status.

Developers: Will Wright and Gallium Artists

Team Proxi/Twitter

Proxi is an AI simulation game from The Sims creator Will Wright. The game is built out of the player's memories, using them as building blocks in the 3D world. Instead of creating a city or a house, as a player would do in The Sims, Proxi models the brain. You can store memories and millions of interconnected concepts, according to the website.

Thumper: Pocket Edition

Developer: Drool

In Thumper: Pocket Edition, you play as a space beetle venturing through the void and duking it out with an evil giant head. Win boss battles over nine levels by matching the beat of the music. You can expect this one to launch Oct. 1.

Tiny Wings

Developer: Andreas Illiger

Classic endless runner Tiny Wings casts you as a bird with tiny wings and big dreams of flying. The bird tries to fly and uses beautiful hills as jumps and slides to flap their little wings and take to the skies. At least for a little bit, before gravity brings them back down, but another hill is just around the corner. It's all about matching the flow of your jump to the curve ahead, increasing your speed as you go. According to Snowman, the developer behind Apple Arcade's Skate City, Tiny Wings was one of the inspirations for its celebrated Alto game series.

You can get a three-month free trial of Apple Arcade when you buy a new Apple device, or one month for free if you're signing up for the first time. To try the service out, open the App Store and tap the little joystick icon at the bottom of the screen. The Apple One subscription bundle also launched last year, which makes it easier and more affordable to get up to six Apple subscription services, Apple Arcade included, for one price. Apple Arcade also teamed up with Verizon earlier this year to offer a free year-long subscription with unlimited plans.
