Amazon has unveiled yet another Kindle Fire sale -- but this one won't be around for long.

As of Thursday, consumers can trim $30 off the price of any Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HD 8.9, Kindle Fire HDX, and Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 tablet by using the promo code MAYDAY30 at checkout. For example, the sale brings the price of the 8GB Kindle Fire HD down to $109 from $139 and the 16GB Wi-Fi-only Kindle Fire HDX down to $199 from $229.

Eager buyers won't want to dawdle. The sale is good only while supplies last and ends Saturday, January 11, at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Amazon said it launched the sale as a thank you for being voted No. 1 in customer satisfaction. A report released this week by ForeSee ranked Amazon as the top Web-based retailer for customer satisfaction during the holiday season.
