Acer Iconia Tab A110 shows up on U.K. online retailer

The 7-inch Jelly Bean tablet could be a direct competitor of the Amazon Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7.

The Acer Iconia Tab A110 is rumored to be only the second tablet to run Jelly Bean.

The Acer Iconia Tab A110 is now available on U.K. retailer site Ebuyer for preorder. According to the site the tablet will be shipped in the U.K. in 47 to 49 days (at the time of this posting). That puts it in stores in early October.

Ebuyer has the tablet listed for £179 for the 8GB version that's currently about $280 in the U.S. The 7-inch tablet would be the second known Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) tablet after the Google Nexus 7.

According to the site the Iconia Tab A110 sports a 1,024x600-pixel resolution, a quad-core 1.2 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, and 8GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot. The tablet also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a Micro-HDMI port, and Wi-Fi.

Acer has yet to officially announce the tablet in the U.S. but it could be competition for the Amazon Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7 tablets in the 7-inch tablet market. Look for more information on the A110 as the release date approaches.
