A 3G Walkman phone

In Singapore this week, Sony Ericsson unveiled the latest addition to its Walkman phone lineup. The Sony Ericsson W900i is the first Walkman phone to support 3G UMTS networks--a great addition to what looks like an already great product. Like the very cool Sony Ericsson W800i, the new mobile packs in the multimedia features. Included are a 2-megapixel camera with video, an MP3 and AAC music player, and an FM radio. It also promises Bluetooth, USM and infrared connectivity, a 262,000-color display, a speakerphone, and 3D Java gaming. Onboard memory is a very solid 470MB, and there's a Memory Stick Pro Duo slot for cards up to 2GB. The swivel design resembles the Sony Ericsson W600a's, and it comes in white or black. Unfortunately, we won't see it in the United States anytime soon, but it's set to ship to Europe, Asia/Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa by the end of the year.
