360networks, a Vancouver-based communications carrier, appointed Vanessa Wittman as the company's new chief financial officer. Wittman, who joined 360networks as vice president of corporate development in February 2000, previously served as senior director of corporate development for Microsoft. She will replace Larry Olsen, who will continue as the company's vice chairman.
