Tidal refreshed its media streaming app today with an update that finally lets users send audio and video to a Google Chromecast dongle.
In addition to software bug patches and improvements to the play queue, Tidal's latest version 1.14.0 for iOS and Android adds an integrated Cast option that pops up in the playback screen.
Your phone will always show up as the default source, but now you can see Chromecast devices in the menu too, as long as both sources are connected to the same wireless source.
Tidal joins a handful of apps that can already Cast content, including Spotify, Crunchyroll, Hulu Plus, iHeartRadio, and more.
