Poll: how much are you willing to pay for a TV episode?

Following the fantastic response to our poll about why people torrent TV shows, we're curious as to how much you're willing to pay for a digital download of an episode of a TV show.

We had a fantastic response to a poll we ran asking you, our readers, why you torrent TV shows. We'll address some of the issues raised in the comments section there in an upcoming blog post.

For now, though, we're curious as to how much you're willing to pay for a digital download of an episode of a TV show.

We'll make one basic assumption for the poll on right: video quality is at least on par with standard-definition television.

Given all of the possible combinations and permutations of opinions out there, we'd also like to know your thoughts on what you'd expect for your money. For example, you might be willing to shell out $3 per episode, but you'd want HD quality and freedom from DRM, or you might be happy to pay $1 and live with lower video quality and DRM.

As usual, vote in the poll to the right and leave your comments below.
