Wireless speakers come in all shapes and sizes, but the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Wireless took off in the marketplace last year, in no small part because of its distinct cigar shape and "glass fibre ribs" that reduced vibrations in the cabinet.
Today, the company announced a new white color option that will go on sale this August for $699 (£545 or AU$935), the same price of the original black model.
The speaker features a large 6.5-inch subwoofer, decoupled double-dome tweeters, midrange drivers that have been upgraded from the first version, and an embedded digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for high-fidelity streaming.
So while you might be used to hearing the tinny sounds of smaller mobile speakers, the Zeppelin Wireless should easily fill a larger room with more clarity and tighter, deeper bass.
