The Beeb is beaming into your Bravia. The iPlayer catch-up service has been added to Sony's Bravia Internet Video service.

You can see BBC shows, listen to radio programmes and watch films shown on the Beeb this week directly through your Bravia -- no set-top box required, as long as the TV includes Freeview HD. Compatible models include the Bravia EX703, HX703 and NX703.

Next year Sony will introduce Google TV to its televisions, allowing you to search the Web and TV schedules and access all your favourite online services. It's not yet clear whether that will replace or be built into Sony's existing IPTV offering.

To catch up with Auntie, just click the new iPlayer link on the Xross media bar. Go on -- you've got time for a sneaky episode of Grandma's House.
