Adele's "25" was the number one album of 2015, and has sold more than 8 million copies in the US. Now, seven months after its release, the hit album will make its debut on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music.
Adele's album "25" is due to hit streaming services worldwide at midnight Friday, local time, according to Recode. That means fans in Australia and New Zealand should be able to listen to the album right now.
A spokesperson for Adele declined to comment.
"25" outsold Taylor Swift's similarly numerical "1989," which topped 5 million sales in the US. Both artists have seemingly been helped by their general aversion to streaming services. Meanwhile, Adele reportedly signed a deal with Sony in May 2016 for her future releases worth a record-breaking £90M.
