Trump and Clinton star in retro video games you can really play

Game on! In these free online games, Trump collects bricks to build a wall on the Mexican border, while Clinton grabs super-PAC gifts.

Does the presidential election already seem like a big scary game? (Giant Meteor 2016!) Might as well go with that. Time-warp back to those early days of arcade fun with Presidential Blitz, an online game done in 8-bit style where you play as either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.

The game is an equal-opportunity offender. Choose to play as Trump, and your goal is to collect bricks to build a wall to block immigrants while avoiding the media and GOP bombs. Play as Clinton, and you grab gifts from your Super PAC while avoiding tweeting Millennials and "that pesky 3 a.m. phone call."

Presidential Blitz was created by SquirrelMonkeyCom, which parties with vintage video games like it's 1989. The details are as sharp as Pac-Man's teeth (did he have any?), featuring Mario-style leaping and a "Paperboy"-esque background. And unlike the upcoming election, if you don't get the result you like here, just push "play" again and start over.
