Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai brought us on an adventure Tuesday by showcasing the game's next additional fighter. The video presentation offered an in-depth look at the Hero from Dragon Quest 11, who'll join the Nintendo Switch brawler's roster later in the day.

The Japanese company revealed that the RPG protagonist is coming to Smash Bros. Ultimate during its E3 2019 presentation in June. The Dragon Quest 11 Hero's alternate costumes are his counterparts from Dragon Quest 3, 5 and 8 -- Sakurai suggested referring to them by their Japanese names Eleven, Arusu, Solo and Eight. It's also the first time heroes from the series have been able to fight each other.

You can get the Hero, along with a new stage and music, for $6. He's also available in a $25 bundle with the other additional fighters and content.

The Dragon Quest series will be represented in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tuesday.

The software update that adds him to the game also brings a bunch of free content: an in-game online tournament mode, a "Very Easy" setting for the single-player Adventure mode, the ability to predict the winner in Spectate mode, tweaks to the Final Smash mechanic and other features.

Rounding out the Dragon Quest content is a set of Mii Fighter costumes, including a hat based on series mascot Slime. Each of these costs 75 cents.

Dragon Quest 11, which came out on PS4 and PC last year, is coming to Switch on Sept. 27. It'll be enhanced with extra story content, a fancy orchestral soundtrack and other cool stuff.

Nintendo already added two fighters into Smash Bros. Ultimate. Piranha Plant (from the Super Mario Bros games), which came out in February, was offered for free if you picked up the game early, while Joker from Persona 5 was added in April. The E3 presentation also revealed that '90s platforming heroes Banjo-Kazooie are coming, and there are still two more additional fighters that we haven't seen yet.
