Until then, you can get your Grand Theft Auto fix with Rockstar's latest bit of marketing fun: an interactive travelogue of Los Santos and Blaine County.

The travelogue shows off a chunk of the setting and story elements that gamers can expect from GTA V.

From the "affordable healthcare" to the "great outdoors"; from the "leadership you can trust" to the "friendly neighbours" who enjoy "leisure pursuits such as territory clashes and pharmaceutical commerce".

It's a classic piece of Rockstar's tongue-in-cheek attitude with its iconic franchise, and is well worth exploring.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is out on 17 September, and has been rated R18+ for Australia.
