Enterprising trainers in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei were momentarily able to start hunting for Pokemon on Monday when the servers to Nintendo's wildly popular, region-locked Pokemon Go briefly went live.

The app wasn't, and still isn't, officially available in those countries, but Apple owners can grab the game from either the US or Australian App Store, while Android users can download the APK.

With the servers being taken back down though, it's a better bet to wait until an official launch. Hopefully the game's temporarily going live is a sign that its Asian release isn't far off.
