Phoenix Suns continue season on NBA 2K20
That's one creative way to get around the canceled season.

The Suns found another way to entertain their fans.
The NBA suspended the 2019-2020 season Wednesday due to the coronavirus outbreak. But the announcement apparently won't stop the Phoenix Suns, who'll take their game to the digital basketball court.
The Phoenix Suns will play against the Dallas Mavericks in NBA 2K20 on Friday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the team's Twitch channel, according to a press release Friday. Playing for the Suns will be professional NBA 2K player Antonio Saldivar, and for the Mavericks it'll be the Mavs' gaming brand ambassador, Lawrence "Buddy" Norman.

The NBA's decision to suspend the season came after Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. Since then, several other leagues have also canceled or postponed their seasons, including the NHL, the MLS and the NCAA.
