Taking over the DSi's previous price point of AU$299.95 is the DSi XL, which goes on sale in stores tomorrow. The DSi XL boasts all the features of the DSi in a super-sized console and will be available in burgundy and bronze.

This is great news for gamers who haven't yet upgraded from the original DS or are vision impaired, since the DSi XL is essentially the same product with reduced portability, and a great opportunity to snap up the last incarnation in Nintendo's current portable generation before the great 3DS takeover of 2011.
