Check out this new trailer for EA's upcoming free-running sequel.
Alongside its announcement of a closed beta for Mirror's Edge Catalyst, developer DICE also shared a new trailer that provides some details on main character Faith Connors and the events that will unfold in the free-running sequel. Check it out below:
Recently out of prison, Faith gets wrapped up in a plot with the nefarious Gabriel Kruger and the Conglomerate, the oppressive group that keeps control over the city of Glass.
"Faith finds herself running for something far more important," DICE teases.
The game's name itself is also a reference to the story, as DICE said throughout the narrative players will, as Faith, master their movement and combat skills to become a "catalyst" of change.
Catalyst's closed beta will be available before launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC. You can sign up for a chance to get into the closed beta through this website, although access is not guaranteed.
Originally set to launch on February 23, Catalyst was later delayed to May 24. Producer Sara Jansson explained the game was delayed to "make sure that when you step into the massive City of Glass and experience the rise of Faith, it's as entertaining, impressive, and memorable as it can be."
