Paleontology is awesome: "Jurassic Park" is the latest hit movie series to appear in Lego video game form. And not to be outtdone, the superheroic Avengers will also be appearing in a game.
The "Jurassic Park" game will follow the storylines of the full dino-series, including elements of forthcoming blockbuster "Jurassic World" and all three previous movies. It's coming in June, when "Jurassic World" stomps into theatres.
The new film stars Chris Pratt alongside Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer and B.D. Wong reprising his character, Dr. Wu, from the very first film. It's directed by Colin Trevorrow and features a new made-up dinosaur called "Indominus Rex" causing havoc.
The clunkily titled "Lego Marvel's Avengers" follows in autumn, after the second movie in the series based on Marvel superheroes hits theatres in the UK and Australia in April and the US in May. "Avengers: Age of Ultron" sees Iron Man, Captain America, the incredible Hulk and friends team up once again, with real-life Lego sets allowing you to build scenes from the movie.
TT Games is developing the games. You'll be able to play on Xbox One and Xbox 360, PlayStations 3 and 4, PS Vita, the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS, and Windows PC.
Speaking of brick-built superheroes, "Lego Batman: Beyond Gotham" is also coming to mobile devices.
